Access

Below is all the information on 'Access/Special Needs' access to the venues we utilise.
The one off outdoor gigs are first followed by the regular indoor venues.

Venues

Marlay Park

Wheelchair platform
There will be a wheelchair platform in Marlay - as you enter the main arena you can take the path behind the sound tower and then you will see the wheelchair platform to your left

Access/Special Needs
There will be a small number of places available in a open air protected area, in front of the wheelchair platform for people who feel vulnerable in the midst of the crowd. These will be allocated on a first come basis and no guarantee can be made as to availability. One companion will be allowed with each person. (Only wheelchair users and one companion will be allowed on the wheelchair platform)

First Aid Posts
These will be situated either side of the stage and opposite the main arena entrance All first aid posts will be signed. If you are on the wheelchair platform and are in need of first aid please ask the stewards to call the medics for you.

Diabetics
First Aid Posts will make private space available for diabetics needing to inject insulin. Needles should be declared to security at entrance gates.

Access/Special Needs Parking
Disabled parking in in the carpark at Marlay House - this is off the Grange Rd and is signposted

Olympia Theatre

There are limited wheelchair tickets available for all Olympia shows, please contact our dedicated special needs booking line on 01 6704 322, or email: olympiaboxoffice@ticketmaster.ie to book. Please visit the venue’s Special Needs webpage for more information

Ambassador Theatre

All exhibitions in The Ambassador are wheelchair accessible. If you book General Admission tickets via Ticketmaster or buy at the venue on the day, we will ensure you are looked after. Please contact the venue’s management office at (01) 672 5883 Monday to Friday between 9.30am – 5.30pm for more information. You can also reach us at ambassadordublin@gmail.com to answer any queries.

The Academy

The three venues in The Academy are fully wheelchair accessible, with an elevator installed to look after any patron who requests it. Wheelchair patrons can book General Admission tickets via Ticketmaster, then email us on info@theacademydublin.com with details of the date & show you will be attending, and we will ensure you are looked after on the night.

Gaiety Theatre

Please contact the venue at (01) 677 1717 for information There is limited availability for these tickets so be sure to book early.

The Button Factory

This venue is fully wheelchair accessible, contact the management at (01) 670 9202 for further information.

Whelans

Special Needs Tickets

Olympia Theatre / Gaiety Theatre

You can buy/book tickets in advance on the phone or in person at box offices.

Ambassador Theatre / The Academy

No special tickets are required, as they are not seated venues.

Other

You can also do this and get any additional special needs information through the Special Needs Hotline at Ticketmaster - 0818 715658.

Diabetics

The Olympia Theatre and The Academy have medical rooms where insulin can be injected in privacy. Please ask any member of security to put you in contact with the medic on duty.
