Jamie McIntyre

Jamie McIntyre started playing in pubs, always with his eye on one day performing his own songs to people.

In 2024, the singer was selected by Gavin James to join him as support in Paris on his European tour as part of Three’s City Stages initiative which also led to him working with Imelda May and performing at Electric Picnic, followed by performances with Liverpool songwriter Jamie Webster on his sold out shows at 3Olympia in Dublin and The Telegraph Building in Belfast.

That summer, he wrote an ode to his home county “Over Galway Town” which became a viral sensation with over 6.5 million streams and brought his music to far flung places across the globe.

This was followed by EP’s “Chapter 23” and “For Folk Sake” featuring fan favourite songs “West is Home” and “Gra” as well as “Melbourne” and “Outside The City” - all written from deeply personal experiences tied back to his love for Ireland in some way or another.

A sold out debut run of shows across Ireland and the UK rounded off 2025 and this year has followed that trajectory with the release of new single “17 Again” and a UK & Ireland tour with U.S. indie folk band, the 502s leading in to his own sold out Irish tour firmly putting Jamie McIntyre on the map as one to watch in 2026.
